How to Clean & Fix Your Garage Door’s Photo Eyes | Garage Door Maintenance Tips
Hey Garage Door Fans. I’m Chris with C&W Canada Garage Doors. Have you ever had your garage door to reverse on you, lights flashing, and you have no idea why? Simple answer - your photo eyes. Your photo eye are the two sensors located at the bottom of your garage doors. Now, the first thing and the common is there’s an obstruction like a shovel or some sort of tool in the way. Simply remove that and test your door. Another reason is that they might be dirty, so use a damp cloth and wipe gently. Make sure all the cobwebs are gone. Another reason might be alignment or power, in which case you should call a professional. So when your door’s in trouble, you call C&W.
